Con Brio Whistler 2018: April 19 – 22
Con Brio Sun Peaks 2018: April 27 – 29
Over 40,000 musicians have come to the Con Brio Whistler and Sun Peaks Music Festivals since we began in the year 2000. Created with the best interest of music educators and their students in mind, Con Brio Festivals are built on a team approach involving educators, former and current band, choir and orchestra parents and students, college and university music education majors, and community volunteers. Our purpose is to support the pursuit of excellence and inspire a lifelong love of music in each participant.
Con Brio Festivals are proud to be the only Canadian festival organization elected to associate membership in the American Bandmasters Association.
When choosing a festival to attend, please be sure to avoid any possible confusion between Con Brio Festivals and another festival scheduled just a week apart in the same location with which we have no association. We are proud to be the ORIGINAL Whistler and Sun Peaks Music Festivals and we remain dedicated to creating an inspiring educational experience for all of our participants. We look forward to welcoming you.

“Having adjudicated at many festivals, I have become selective in lending my name and reputation to a festival or a festival company. However, there are a select few for whom I have accepted a second, third or more invitations to work with student ensembles and teachers. Con Brio is at the very top of my list for offering an educationally driven festival that provides ‘once in a lifetime moments and goose bump opportunities’ that students and educators will remember throughout their entire lives.”
